IVF Round One: Week 6 Part 1!!!!

Dear Little One,

We went in on July 6th for another follicle scan. This time my mom got to come with us!!! They did an ultrasound and everything looked awesome. My follicles were just about the size they needed to be and my body had been responding super well to the medication. That being said, they gave us a date for our LAST INJECTION, TRIGGER SHOT & EGG RETRIEVAL!!! Is this even real life?!!!

My Last injection will be on Sunday July 7th!! My Trigger shot will be on Monday July 8th at 8:00 p.m. and Egg Retrieval is on July 10th at 6:45 a.m.!!!

This was such good news that we decided to celebrate by taking my mom to IKEA for the first time!! I am not sure why your dad thought it would be a good idea to take a cart up an escalator but here we are ha!!

After Ikea, we met your Obachan for lunch. I ordered sushi because hopefully really soon I won't be able to eat sushi for a while. Also, Aren't your Grandma's the cutest?!

We are so excited that everything is SO CLOSE!!! We have waited for this for so long. I am moved to tears every time I think of how faithful the Lord has been during this time. I will not lie, this is the most physically and emotionally exhausting thing I have ever done but I am so grateful that I am never alone. Little one you are so loved by us but I can't wait until you know how loved you are by our Savior Jesus.
