Dear Little One,

As I mentioned in our last post we decided to travel North the day before my procedure so that we wouldn't be late or have to wake up crazy early. Tuesday was a little rough but We finally made it to Florence and your dad bought me White Castle because I am obsessed and he loves me. I ate it quickly and went to bed (We had a BIG day the next day)!!!

Day of the Egg Retrieval:

I woke up at 5 a.m. and wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything but I prayed a lot. I was really nervous. Your dad hugged me and comforted me and prayed for us and you and we left at 5:50 to head to the office. I was instructed to take some medicine at 6:15 a.m. that would calm me down a bit and it did Thank goodness. We arrived at 6:45 a.m. I changed into a gown and they gave me an IV and after that my memory is a little foggy. I do however remember them rolling me back and then I felt someone, (I think it was the nurse rubbing my shoulder the entire time) so sweet! When they rolled me back to where John was they told me they got THIRTY ONE EGGS!!!

I couldn't believe it. My body was workin hard! We were so excited!!!

The next morning they called to tell me that 13 eggs fertilized!!! I cried, hard. I am so grateful. They also told me that we could move forward with a fresh transfer on Monday, July 15th! Again so thankful and an answer to many peoples prayers!!! 3 days until they put at least on of my embabies back where they belong :)

My recovery has been overall not bad. I am sore and even more than that I am TIRED. I took a shower this morning followed by a three hour nap because it was too much. But I am taking it easy and working hard on letting my body heal so that this transfer goes well. I am so hopeful and so excited and so scared all at the same time.

I can't wait to meet you little one. You have no idea. Praying so hard that that day is soon.

All our Love,

Mom & Dad
