IVF Round One: Week 3!

Dear Little One,

This has been a great week and we received GREAT news! Yesterday, I had an appointment to check to make sure the birth control I have been taking is doing its job. Your dad unfortunately can't come with me to all of my appointments so your Aunt Natalie & Aunt Rachel came with me (Kid, you're gonna love them-we have a good time as you can see ;))

I had to go in for an ultrasound so that my Dr. could look at my follicles and see how many there are, how big they are and that they are in a resting state. My Doctor said everything looked EXCELLENT! So what does this mean?

WE GET TO START INJECTIONS THIS SATURDAY!

Also, I took my last birth control pill this morning!!! Dr. Awadalla said that my follicles look good and I have a lot so he actually lowered my dosage for one of my medications which is great!! My next appointment is July 3 to see how injections are going. I will see my Dr. twice next week and they said to expect for egg retrieval to be either July 10 or 11th and for transfer to be July 13 or 15th!!!

I am crying writing this because I am so grateful to our Savior who has been there every single step of the way. My biggest prayer for you is that you know him and live for him all of your life. He is so Good. We are not worthy of any of this but we are so grateful that God sees us in this time and that in his time, we will meet you precious child.

You are so loved by so many. We can't wait to meet you!
